Job DescriptionThe Stock Associate maintains effectiveness of merchandise flow, filling and presentation standards throughout the store and stock. Stock Associates typically work three to four shifts per week on average, each shift being about four to five hours, but may work more or less depending on the time of year and needs of the business. Stock Associates may be required to work most Saturdays and some Sundays, and during the weeks of peak holiday seasons.

Job Requirements
* Ability to work 0 to 35 feet above the ground.
* Ability to be trained in cross over training.
* Ability to become certified in the operation of warehouse equipment.
* Ability to be trained on the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies including but not limited to Dispatch Track, Storis, iPad, Excel, Word, etc.
* Have a flexible schedule and work all shifts, holidays, and weekends.
* Positive attitude with strong inter-personal skills
* Coordinate and work effectively with multiple departments to continuously improve processes, maximize efficiency.
Job Expectations

* Identifying and reading reports, tickets and UPC labels.
* Efficiently disassemble and assemble merchandise.
* Able to operate a radio frequency (RF) scanner.
* Able to correctly use a hand truck.
* Able to safely handle product from 0 to 35 feet above the ground.
* Inspect all power equipment and complete the Vehicle Inspection Report before operation.
* Inventory Customer Owned Goods (C.O.G) and ensure the paperwork is filled out correctly.
* Possess the knowledge and the ability to perform the correct lifting/team lifting techniques.
* Confirm all paperwork is filled out correctly by the delivery teams.
* Efficiently wrap and protect merchandise by using the appropriate materials prior to put away.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Professional with good communication skills.
* Demonstrate high level of attention to detail and professionalism at all times.
Physical Requirements:
* Requires the ability to maneuver in confined and at times congested areas.
* Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily.
* Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
* Requires lift, lower, push and pull all sizes of merchandise up to 100 lbs. frequently and ability to handle/manipulate up to 250 lbs. frequently.
* The Delivery Return to Stock (RTS) Associate position requires lifting, gripping, bending, kneeling, stooping and moving merchandise 8 hours or more daily Lift, lower, push and pull all sizes of furniture up to and in excess of 100 lbs.
