The Purchasing and Inventory Associate supports all procurement and inventory functions within our organization. This role is responsible for bulk and on demand purchasing, maintains accurate par levels, forecasts supply needs based on upcoming events, develops and maintains vendor relationships, and ensures inventory accuracy across multiple locations. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Logistics and Facilities, this role is integral to product development, warehouse and logistical operations, and equipment management for all lines of business. Track vendor performance, pricing changes, product catalogs, and contract terms. Analytics and Reporting Produce purchasing and inventory reports using Excel and company systems. Forecast supply needs using historical trends, event projections, and seasonal patterns. Data management includes normalization, data cleansing, transformation, validation, and data governance. QUALIFICATIONS: · 5 + years of purchasing or procurement experience. · 2+ years' experience within food & beverage, catering, restaurant or a related business. · Intermediate or higher knowledge of excel including tables, formulas, functions, formatting, presentation, analysis, and reporting. · A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience · Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages and productivity tools. What We're Looking for A Food Enthusiast who celebrates locally and responsibly sourced products of the highest quality A Continuous Learner who is eager to collaborate and share in creating an extraordinary hospitality experience A Health Advocate who can guide guests to options that suit special diets and allergy restrictions A Community Member who values the power of diversity and the inclusion of our various identities A Neighborhood Champion who strives to be socially responsible by giving back to our community A Safety Leader who prioritizes cleanliness and a high level of sanitation for Team Members and Guests What You'll Do Deliver Talk of the Town Guest Service Take customer orders through our Dom's Go App and select items in a timely manner Ensure accurate product selection by choosing the freshest quality items, accurate pricing, and quality packing Monitor the workflow of eCommerce orders to guarantee timeliness at customer pick-up or delivery Communicate with customers in the case of item substitution or replacement Organize items in the order holding area, ensuring items are held at a correct, safe temperature Responsible for reporting accurate billing and payment of each eCommerce order to the Team Captain or Lead Support a positive shopping experience for customers also shopping in-store Maintain a regular cleaning routine for the eCommerce area and equipment Qualifications Experience in a retail eCommerce setting is preferred Excellent communication, organization, and planning skills Advanced knowledge in utilizing computers and POS technology Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Work Authorization in the United States is required.
