About the Role
We're looking for a skilled and resourceful Linux & Cloud Application Support Specialist to join our Operations, Maintenance & Sustainment (OM&S) team. You'll play a crucial role in keeping our PaaS platform, Bessemer, running smoothly for a growing base of customers. This is a hands-on role where your ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize live cloud environments will have a direct impact on mission success.
Our platform spans multiple cloud environments - AWS, Azure, and OpenStack - and we work with a wide variety of technologies. You'll have the autonomy to own your work while collaborating with a supportive team that values knowledge-sharing, kindness, and technical excellence.

* Collaborate with the Follow-On Support Contract (FOSC) PM and coordinate customer messaging / engagements, and staffing needs across contracts to optimize resource allocation and leverage cross-training opportunities of key personnel including Local Country Nationals

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As an electrical engineer for GPS Source Sustainment Team, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for maintiaing over 300 prducts in the GPS Source catalog.
We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:
Experience with RF circuit design using discrete components (lumped elements), for amplifiers, power dividers/combiners, attenuators
Experience with general circuit troubleshooting procedures including but not limited to using RF equipment, power supplies, DVM, soldering station, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.
Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout using OrCad 17 or higher
Component engineering experience
