Assist in identifying and implementing best practices related to IPMS and wireless efforts. Perform Radio Frequency (RF) Signal Analysis: Conduct RF signal of interest searches and accurately assess and locate signals discovered during surveys, system notifications, and IPMS operations. Minimum Qualifications: 6+ years of writing and editing of technical documents. Experience with RF theory and direction finding. Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM Certification Must complete at least 40 hours of discipline-specific development or refresher training every fiscal year. The Impact you will have: In this role, you'll provide hands-on support at client sites, resolving technical issues across hardware, software and networks. You will ensure client success through timely resolution and consistent communication. You will understand and follow the VC3 Way, our set of standards and processes to ensure a predictable result for the customer. VC3 will provide mileage reimbursement per our policy. What you will be doing: Drive to client sites as scheduled while adhering to appointment schedules and promptly communicating any delays to the Service Coordinator Install and set up new computer hardware, software and peripherals Troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues related to workstations and printers Collaborate with VC3 technical staff as onsite support for connectivity issues including ISPs, wireless networks, DHCP, DNS, and remote access technologies including VPN, RDS and Citrix Educate and guide VC3 clients on technical standards and best practices Identify recurring issues and initiate problem tickets for them Make recommendations to the VC3 team for improvements of supported hardware and software Maintain accurate and real time timesheets, record complete and accurate notes of troubleshooting and communication with clients Participate in the on-call rotation (1 week every 3-4 months) Additional duties as assigned The tools you bring: Full-time access to a vehicle, a valid driver's license, and no driving restrictions. Business class insurance for the vehicle if residing in Canada 2 years of relevant technical experience OR 1 year experience in Service Technician I or II roles at VC3 2 years experience managing: Windows Client Operating Sytems (10,11), Microsoft/Office 365, Virus and Security, TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS Go Beyond - you take that extra step to create moments that are unexpected but appreciated.
