Key Duties & Responsibilities
Lead planning, scheduling, workload analysis, and progress measurement for assigned departments in coordination with field supervisors and project teams.

Maintain and protect the integrity of all data within scheduling and information management systems (SAP and Primavera P6).

Execute and manage the Runtime Forecasting process for the assigned area.

Maintain accurate job histories, costs, resource usage, and documentation within SAP.
Collaborate with Global Supply Chain regarding materials, warehouse levels, storage conditions, and procurement requirements.
Assist in developing scopes of work, coordinating contract execution, and interfacing with suppliers and vendors.
Support maintenance and project management decisions, including budget planning, forecasting, and major materials cost projections.
Produce regular and ad hoc scheduling, performance, and KPI reports for site leadership.

Qualifications

Description
The Autonomous Mining System Coordinator is responsible for implementing the mine model for MineStar Command for Hauling, while providing effective support to other personnel, including the Autonomous Mining Controls Specialist and Autonomous Mining Pit Technicians. The Autonomous Mining System Coordinator will work to manage the mine model, review system operations, ensure data quality, troubleshoot, and maintaining onboard files.
* Ensures accurate completion of documentation and data entry where necessary. Troubleshoots assignments, communications issues and escalates issues that cannot be resolved. Monitors operations/processes and system performance to ensure key performance indicators are met.
* Prioritize work to meet shift objectives. Follow specific operating procedures. Complete and validate shift reports, shift handover and document all issues requiring follow up.
* Ensure prompt communication with affected parties when plans or decisions are modified. Ensure communication with peers, supervision and other employees contribute to safe and collaborative working relationships. Communicate with team members and contractors to ensure all necessary information is provided. Liaise with other departments, internal and external, to coordinate activities, including but not limited to, maintenance, engineering, etc.

Description
Under general supervision, supervises, coordinates and controls the safe and efficient operation of an assigned work unit.
* Assigns, supervises, and reviews the work of staff for assigned work unit.
* Implement production plans according to approved schedule.
* May participate in the full range of daily operational duties, performing the most difficult.
* Inspects and evaluates work in progress, identifies any problem areas, and may direct remedial action.
* Conducts performance evaluations on subordinate staff.
* Prepares estimates of the staffing, materials, and equipment requirements for projected work activities.
* Maintains an inventory of parts and materials. Approves purchases of materials and equipment; maintains time, materials and equipment use reports. Requisitions tools, supplies, materials and equipment.
* Trains staff in safety procedures. Maintains safety data sheets for crews.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED and five years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience, OR
* Bachelor's degree in a technical mining related discipline with at least one summer internship experience (or equivalent) working in mining or industrial environment, including supervisory or lead experience
Criteria/Conditions:
* Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
* Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
* Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment.
* Work is in a mine or manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see
* Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 30 pounds) during the course of the workday
* May be required to work rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operation
