We have evening shifts available from 14:00 (2:00pm) to Close (about 10:00pm but could be as late as midnight during irregular operations).

Full or part-time , you let us know what you're looking for. Weekend coverage is necessary.

Those with supervisory experience may be interviewed for leadership roles.

Our baggage handlers must follow established procedures, read baggage tags, and lift, shift, and move internationally inbound passenger luggage from oversized intake to outbound recheck belts. We also recirculate discarded carts from recheck back into the facility and will be newly training to provide portering to our guests coming in from international flights.

This can be a fast-paced job at times, and SWEAT will happen if you're doing it right. We're looking for that unique person who smiles through their workout and can greet or explain directions swiftly and clearly while lifting. Those who can communicate in commonly spoken languages related to these international flights are welcome to apply such as Korean, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, Ukrainian, Farsi, and many many more.

We will provide uniform shirts, personal protective gear (PPE) and on the job training. You bring your winning personality and desire for punctuated, physically demanding work, and we will make a place for you among our VIPs.

Position : Part time

Must Have already "Valid Sora License Required" for this position

Hourly pay rate: $18.00

Shift Available : Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Monday - Sunday

This is not a Security position it's a Baggage handler position Sora License is required*

You must be able to lift up to 80LBS

Required to stand for majority of shift

Load and unload passenger bags on/off baggage carousels and/or carts

Will assist passengers with carrying passengers bags up/down stairs or on/off bus

Operate freight elevator to load and unload over-sized passenger items

Work in inclement weather conditions when necessary

Superior Aircraft Services is looking for bright, ambitious, and motivated professionals to join our team as Baggage Handler. In this role you will be responsible for assisting incoming airline passengers with their baggage, especially large and oversize baggage.
Requirements

What you will do:Assist passengers with their baggage

Communicate with passengers and team members

Ensure all luggage is handled respectfully and with care

Safely transport oversized passenger luggage from the ticket counter to TSA for screening and processing. Examples of oversized, unusually shaped luggage may include skis, pet kennels, musical instruments, audio/visual equipment, medical equipment, medical devices, and strollers.

Assisting the airline ticket counter staff with the loading of passenger luggage onto the conveyer belt and spacing out luggage to prevent luggage jams on the conveyor belt
