Cons of working at Baker Hughes

If you are anything field Service related, Baker is actively trying to remove you from the cost equation. Where once Baker hands were well paid, management is trying to get it down to entry level. Most managers (in the US anyway) will block any advancement.

Nothing. Left a good job due to Baker once having a reputation as a next career step only to find out management is trying to gut anything worth being at baker for

Nothing. They don't care about the customer or the people only how they look in social media

How would you improve Baker Hughes's culture?

Hire managers who know why Baker became what they were and execute to those standards, not try to be another Halliburton or Schlumberger. At this point both of those companies are better choices. Only slightly beating out going to prison

How did you prepare for the Baker Hughes interview?

16 years of experience as a recognized expert in my field. Built relationships with othe Baker people for years. Was recommended

How does your compensation at Baker Hughes compare to the industry average?

Below. Tool hands can average $200K/yr easily. I will NEVER make that at Baker due to multiple Pau and benefit cuts

What's the diversity at Baker Hughes like?

This is so wildly unimportant to the performance of a company its disgustingly petty.

What brings you the most joy at Baker Hughes?

The days I don't have to be at work
