**About the role**
The Operations Technician is responsible for the overall safe operation, maintenance, and performance of a landfill gas to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) processing facility. This position requires 25%-50% travel per month (First 12 months in the position will require 50% travel per month when hired for a new plant. Travel requirement will reduce to 25% per month when working at an existing plant or in year 2 and beyond for a new plant).
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Manage the safe operation of the plant during assigned shift in the most efficient and productive method to maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and prescribed safety and environmental standards.
+ Make periodic inspections of plant equipment to determine proper and normal operating conditions. Check and record operational data such as fluid levels, temperatures and pressures, compare to trends and have the ability to make corrections as needed.
+ Review daily operating reports and other records to ensure specified operating characteristics in control of the plant equipment.
+ Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on plant instrumentation and equipment.
+ Detect and correct faulty and malfunctioning mechanical and electrical components, devices and equipment.
+ Operate advanced instrumentation and process control systems.
+ Diagnose equipment malfunctions during emergencies and direct activities to restore normal operation or to shut down malfunctioning unit.
+ Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical system wiring from control wiring up to 480 volts. Install, remove and modify equipment.
+ Notify Lead Operation Technician and Regional Manager of shutdown or major changes in power output of unit.

+ Maintain a clean work space including the plant building, control room, rest room, break room and grounds.

**About the role**
The Wellfield Technician is responsible for the overall safe operation, maintenance, and performance of a landfill gas wellfield.
Key accountabilities
+ Responsible for the operation of the wellfield during the assigned shift in the most efficient and productive method to maintain compliance with the site-specific Title V Operating Permit, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and prescribed safety and environmental standards as well as compliance with applicable state, federal and local rules, and regulations.
+ Maintains daily logs and obtains readings in accordance with prescribed standards.
+ Follows all plant and landfill safety policies and procedures. Uses required personal protective equipment at all times and performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner. (safety shoes, safety vest, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, chemical protection and H2S monitoring equipment).
+ Maintains a clean workspace including the plant building, control room, rest room, break room and grounds.
+ Writes routine reports and correspondence.
+ Performs landfill tuning duties by recording and storing data as required.
+ Adjusts/tunes wellfield as required to maximize gas quantity and quality.
+ Maintains wellfield data base and associated logs to meet regulatory and corporate compliance requirements.
+ Documents wellhead readings, coordinates, communicates, and verifies corrective actions in order to maintain continuous compliance.
+ Observes applicable safety and environmental regulations while performing assigned tasks. *

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Responsible for the oversight and general management of personnel, equpment and facilities for the terminal operations in a union and non-union work environment. This position is also responsible for financial forecasting, customer service and future development. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Daily scheduling of terminal operations •Active participation in bulk terminal objectives; keeping management apprised of related progress Financial requirements include: establishing budgets and financial goals, controllng costs, preparing weekly forecasts and controlling capital expenditures Establishing and driving accountability into quality control standard applications Reviewing processes for increased revenue or decreasing time for vessel transfer operations Establishing and maintaining operational efficiencies throughout the terminal operations Maintaining and beating facility budgeted obligations Monitor facility equipment including maintenance Direct operational aspects of EHSm labor, HR and labor support Administer collective bargaining Agreement requirements. This includes development, instruction and discipline of the terminal workforce in compliance with KM standards Mentor, lead, direct and train current supervisory staff Effectively interface with customer representatives, regulators, KM staff and others as required Ensure production objectives are achieved and are consistent with EHS and quality standards and requirements Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: B.S. degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience EXPERIENCE / SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: Minimum of 5 years experience in a bulk terminal environment and knowledge of operating procedures Must have leadership and management experience with a diverse workforce CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and be insurable by the company insurance carrier Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearances as required COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications, including, but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerpointMust be able to read, interpret and train others Must be able to develop alternate solutions, resolve issues, manage difficult situations, and respond to internal / external requests for information to meet commitments Must be able to communicate in a clear and precise manner in written and oral communications, in EnglishMust have working knowledge of rail and vessel operations Must have experience working around marine operations.including harbor or mobile duty cycle cranes Must be able to conduct incident investigations Must be able to take direction and give direction in a positive manner PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to work extended hours in emergencies, equipment or service interruptions and/or other necessary circumstances Will be subjected to inside and outside environment. The Hourly rate for this position is $22.50 USD. Baker Hughes pays for all hours worked for this position. The annualized calculated minimum earnings of regular and overtime pay equal at least $90,675.00.
