Partner with the best As a Wireline Field Operator, you will be fully competent in all aspects of operator duties at the well site and at the shop, can maintain the unit and perform all pre-job duties, well-site operations and post-job duties, as well as training of junior operators. As a Wireline Field Operator, you will be responsible for: * Preparing for jobs and performing tool maintenance, pre-job and post- job tool checkout. * Rigging-up and rigging-down equipment at the well site. * Servicing mechanical devices and building logging cable heads * Perforating cable heads and maintenance on the tools * Maintaining well site/DOT records and communications as required by District Manager * Promoting and maintaining good customer relations * Receiving instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on well site activity * Performing basic duties at the well site and at the shop * Driving company vehicles in a safe manner while observing company and government regulations * Participating in quality improvement efforts for ballistics operations * Supervising and train other Field Operators while maintaining a high level of safety awareness at the well site * Performing other related duties as required Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: * Have high school diploma or equivalent education * Have strong mechanical aptitude * Must be able to drive a manual (stick shift) vehicle and have a class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement or You must successfully pass the Company's driving test on a manual (stick shift) vehicle and obtain your Class A or B CDL and/or Hazmat Endorsement withing 6 months of employment. * Have ability to work and communicate well with customers and employees * Have ability to work on-call 24x7 and flexibility to work at well sites for extended periods of time * Have a clean driving record and the ability to pass a federal background check * Have ability to utilized computers for communication, reporting and other work-related purposes * Have to be 21 years of age or older in order to obtain ATF explosives certification Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.     SUMMARY: A Workover Rig Floor Hand is responsible for performing services on oil wells utilizing a double, single, and Pole Rig. The duties of the floor hand include assisting in rigging up/down, pulling/laying rods, tubing, casing and other functions as specified by the rig operator. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Picks up/lays down pipe and latches tubing in elevators Rigging up & down, including handling guidewire hydraulic jacks, pads/boards, and emergency gear. Handle tubing, rods, casing and associated equipment such as rod strippers, polish rods, etc. The rig hand will operate rod wrenches, tongs, elevators, and associated equipment. Assists in lifting, removing, installing and operating well head pump, jacks and performs other tasks as designated by the rig operator Operates the mud pump Manages tools on the workover rig floor and assists in daily maintenance Attends and participates in safety meetings Requirements EDUCATION: Must have a high school diploma, equivalency or equivalent experience. EXPERIENCE: Must have one - two (1-2) years of experience within oil and gas workover rigs, drilling rigs, production facilities, pipeline labor or equivalent experience.
