Since that day in 1915, Baker Roofing has grown to become one of the nation’s largest and most respected roofing contractors.
In 1920 W. P. Baker partnered with Rawls to form Baker & Rawls Tin Shop.
In 1946, a recently decommissioned solider, Bill Baker returned to the company to help his father manage the growing business.
Frank Baker graduated from Wake Forest University in 1969.
In 1999, Baker added 8,000 sq ft of office and shop space.
By 2002, Baker was ranked 6th in the Nation in terms of revenue & leased the office at 613 Mercury Street.
At the end of 2005, Baker leased another warehouse and office building, therefore expanding office space to the edge of the block.
Baker reroofed Memphis Depot in 2009, the largest single roofing job in the nation that year.
In 2010, Baker opened it’s Nashville, TN office.
Baker Roofing opened the Charleston office in January, 2011.
