The Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas, is a community of faith and learning that aims to challenge students academically and educate them spiritually. The university has a religious affiliation with the United Methodists and affirms its Judeo-Christian heritage, but it is open to students of all faiths and worldviews. The university gives students the opportunity to gain real-world experience through a wide variety of internship programs, as well as many study abroad programs in Asia, the Americas, Europe, Australia, and more. Students have access to a full range of more than 75 religious, academic, or research activities and organizations, including the AllChemists Club, Collegiate Music Educators National, Psychology Club, Baker Christian Challenge, and many more. Academics include bachelor's degrees in Art Education, Biology, Church Leadership, Forestry and Environmental Studies, and many more. Pre-professional programs are also offered. The school also maintains a commitment to its Greek life, offering five social fraternities: * Delta Tau Delta * Kappa Alpha Psi * Kappa Sigma * Sigma Phi Epsilon * Zeta Chi Admissions are decided on a rolling basis. You'll receive a reply within two weeks after the university receives all required documents. All full-time students are required to live on campus unless they qualify for a residency exemption. Students who complete and submit a FAFSA application will be considered for a wide variety of federal and state grants. The school also offers financial aid through scholarships based on a calculation of an incoming student's high school GPA and ACT or SAT scores.
