Job Duties

The Hospitality/Culinary Assistant supports our mission and values by providing high quality food service to all residents and employees; promoting optimal nutritional status for each resident by providing diet in accordance with physician's orders and consistent with the residents individual physical, cultural and religious needs.
The Culinary Aide's primary responsibilities may include:
Dining room service, including serving residents, carrying residents' trays and delivering/picking up trays from nursing carts.
Performing tasks on a cleaning schedule, including trash disposal, dishwashing, and sweeping & mopping floors.
Performing a variety of tasks in the kitchen, including prep work, ensuring proper food storage by labelling & dating food items, operating kitchen equipment, handling chemicals and cleaning equipment, etc.

The main priority of Deli / Bakery associates is to prepare quality products for customers. They engage with customers at the service counter and move incoming merchandise out to the salesfloor. Cleaning and maintaining proper food safety standards are critical to the team's success.
