The role will support our Maintenance Team on repairs and upkeep of our operations facility. An ideal candidate will demonstrate a good understanding of maintaining machinery, repairs, basic plumbing, and electrical. Requirements The knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: Experience performing routine maintenance on doors, minor electrical, plumbing, etc. Experience working with a maintenance budget. Ability to maintain machinery to ensure optimum performance; Experience with standard woodshop equipment is important. Area of Responsibility: The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following function: * Analyze system (Business Central "BC") requirements and ensure team accomplishes daily production planning. Responsible to ensure completions in BC are done correctly; * Participate in daily production cell activities; * Responsible for maintaining inventory in their assigned departments and regular audits will be performed by the supervisor to ensure inventory is properly maintained; * Facilitate inventory audits with department supervisors; * Provide support with processing orders with purchasing department; * Train new employees; * Coach, mentor and provide leadership to employees; Crew leads are responsible for the growth development, corrective actions and reviews of the employees within their department with support of supervisor and HR as needed; * Maintain and follow all safety guidelines/procedures/activities throughout the production floor.
