POSITION SUMMARY:
The Operator will properly carry out all duties as defined below under the Work Performed category. This person will be charged with correctly following all SOP guidelines related to this job. All work will be performed in a safe and sanitary manner. Duties include (but are not limited to): proper mixing of powdered products to meet customer defined specifications as measured by bulk density, particle size, customer liquification tests, and powder flow. Proper cleanup and sanitation of all equipment surfaces both during and after production are important job components. A thorough knowledge and understanding of all equipment and controls is necessary for successful qualification.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Properly and safely set up all operational parameters and related equipment prior to Production start-up as described in the SOP
Properly operate all necessary equipment during production to maintain powder quality and consistency as defined by company specified requirements and SOP directions
Properly and safely shut down the machinery and all related equipment as described in the SOP
Properly clean all equipment associated with operations as described in the SOP; this includes a thorough knowledge of proper sanitation techniques to completely clean and sanitize all product contact surfaces
Properly complete any provided checklists for operating and cleaning equipment
Maintain peak operating efficiency of all equipment
Maintain all associated work areas in a clean, neat, and dry manner during the entire shift
Attend all company mandated training sessions these include Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, etc.
Consistently follows all Confined Space regulations
Can correctly complete and submit work orders requiring a maintenance person
Effectively performs all other duties as assigned or directed by plant management
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 18 years of age
Must have enough education to follow all written and oral instructions.
Must be able to learn and master all necessary knowledge to maintain efficient and effective operation of all procedures and associated equipment.
Must have mechanical knowledge and ability for minor equipment repairs and maintenance
Must be self-disciplined, a team player, and be able to handle emergency situations common to the operation
Must be able to maintain and display personal cleanliness and follow all GMP guidelines as required by the company and regulatory agencies
Must be able to write clearly and in an organized fashion
Must be able to reach an acceptable level of task proficiency within a 4-week training period
Competency is determined by a Demonstration of Ability module conducted by the department Supervisor
WORKING CONDITIONS:

Position Summary: As a Cobot Production Technician, you will be responsible to set-up, program and validate various robotic solutions. You will be working with all levels within our organization. Position Responsibilities:

This entry-level position is responsible for learning and training on a variety of tasks to process, dry and package whey products that meet customer expectations and support the achievement of the company's vision, mission and values.
Essential Functions
Provide assistance to operators and learn the basics of each position.
Perform preventative operator maintenance (POM) duties and complete additional cleaning tasks as determined by the supervisor.
Provide support to Whey Operator during CIP process.
Monitor, test and correct CIP concentrations.
Assist and support cleaning-related POMs.
Assist in CIP on MP RO/POL, Water HTST and all associated lines, tanks and equipment according to SOPs.
Provide support to Lactose Operator and Evap Operator during CIP process.
Monitor and sample RO/POL/HTST process during shutdown, CIP, and startup at specified control points and correct any deviations from defined analytical set points.
Transport finished WPC80 and Lactose to storage.
Maintain good communications with lead and/or supervisors to ensure a safe, continuous product flow and proper maintenance of equipment.
Complete and maintain appropriate paperwork and documentation to ensure accurate record keeping.
Operate and monitor assigned food safety preventative controls including verification activities, equipment operation, records requirements and corrective action database.
Safely handle, prepare and use chemicals while wearing proper PPE.
Attend and/or complete required safety and quality training sessions by the assigned deadlines.
Comply with all company safety rules to achieve no injuries and no lost time accidents.
Understand and adhere to all food safety, GMPs, and OSHA policies and procedures.
Adhere to all standard GMPs and performs all work in a manner that ensures the highest standard of food safety and quality.

The ability to use a hand jack or motorized Raymond or Big Joe lift.
The ability to use a computer, scissors, and tape gun.

Production Operator/Operations Technician will carry out the activities involved in the manufacture of specialty chemicals. Employee must follow ISO and PSM procedures in all phases of production operations. Performs SAP functions in data entry and also performs laboratory analyses, as needed. Knowledge of IMDG and 49 CFR dangerous goods certification for shipment of materials. Follows established quality standards, Company safety standards and EHS policies at all times.
Responsibilities:
* Load and unload tank wagons and rail cars, both raw materials and finished products
* Perform blending operations in storage tanks
* Operation of facility's reactors for batch operations
* Transfer materials between vessels
* Perform blending operations in storage tanks
* Automatic and manual charging, sampling and controlling reaction and process vessels.
* Transferring raw materials from rail cars and tank trucks to storage tanks, unloading finished products to tote bins or drums as directed.
* Handling hazardous materials safely.
* Recording process data on batch logs, batch records and inventory control records.
* Adhere to approved work instructions.
* Maintain housekeeping and safe work conditions.
* General plant maintenance.
* Accepts responsibility for his or her own safety and health. Performs assigned duties in a manner that is safe and protective of the environment. Follows operating procedures to ensure a safe and environmentally protective workplace. Observes and reports all incidents and unsafe conditions. Takes an active interest in improving safety and environmental protection.
* Must work well within a team, have good common sense, and have a good attention to detail.
REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
* Demonstrated ability to handle raw materials and finished products in a safe manner.
* Must be willing to wear a full-face respirator or SCBA
* Available to work 12-hour shifts (fixed days or nights), weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
* Operator forklift truck and be capable of passing certification testing.
* Demonstrate basic math skills and knowledge of computers.
* Physically able to work under SCBA and full PPE and must be physically capable to handle bags and drums of materials

Job Summary:Under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Machine Operator will properly package and label all products, supporting quality assurance initiatives, and timely completion of all required production documentation. Incorporated in the general duties of the position is the operation of various types of packaging equipment safely, troubleshooting, as well as maintenance of equipment.

Perform line change on production lines.

Job Description
Responsible for all extrusion activities activities during the shift and to maintain high morale and work standards and strive to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities:
For all production positions, it is understood that all will be responsible for housekeeping of work areas, assisting with clean downs, following the Quality plans, following proper safety procedures, wearing the proper personal protective equipment, waste and yield loss control, understanding of related safety procedures and ISO guidelines, completion of all documentation, proper material handling procedures, following good manufacturing practices, and coverage of the other positions for breaks, lunches and vacation/sick, as deemed necessary by the Production Supervisor.
Extruder Operator - Will operate extruders, troubleshoot, perform clean downs, make packaging labels, build packaging, handle repacks, move FG packages to staging area, do PPG SPC, housekeeping, process optimization, completing production documentation, setting up and documenting SOCs.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Plastics knowledge, preferably with extruder and twin screw knowledge.
Must be safety conscious, adaptable, and dependable.
Demonstrates exceptional teamwork.
Possesses high levels of motivation, optimism and is action orientated.
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization skills, and problem solving skills.

Work Environment/Physical Conditions
Wears and properly utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in all areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses, PAPRs, ear plugs, steel-toed boots, protective gloves, fall protection devices and/or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done.
Must successfully pass a company physical.
Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
Be capable of twisting, bending, stooping, standing, walking, stepping, climbing or otherwise moving from one location on the job site to another, sometimes using steps or ladders.
Be able to work in adverse weather conditions/temperatures.
2nd shift is from 2:45 pm to 11 pm. Overtime work, including weekend work, will sometimes be required.
