Transportation:
Operating a school bus or other designated vehicle to transport students along assigned routes.

Bethlehem Area School District is seeking licensed (RN / LPN) nurses who wish to be considered for substitute associate nurse positions. Substitute associate nurses fill in for employees on a per diem basis throughout all school grade levels within the district. Building hours at the middle school level are 8:00-3:00 and high-school level 7:30-2:30. Elementary building hours are 8:50-3:50. School Nurse Certification is not required for a substitute nurse position.
Requirements:
Current RN or LPN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
Current certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, symptoms, diagnoses, treatments, first aid, illnesses and injuries, nutrition, and related areas
Ability to provide care for ill or injured students
Ability to convey appropriate medical information to school district staff or medical professionals to ensure a proper maintenance in the school setting
Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals and students with special needs
Rate: $120.00 per day

Communicates clearly, concisely, and effectively, both orally and in writing, with the administrative staff, professional and support staff, students, parents, and community.
Provides backup as needed to other staff members/volunteers in their absence.
Performs other duties as assigned.
