I serve as Ballard Spahr's Chief Client Value and Innovation Officer. I oversee the firm’s Client Value and Innovation program, which includes a team of professionals focused on delivering practical value based pricing, matter management, process improvement, knowledge management, technology and innovation strategies and solutions designed to meet those needs. I also work closely with the firm’s leadership team and attorneys to deliver exceptional client service centered on value, cost-effectiveness, efficiency, transparency and predictability. The firm was recently named a standout in technology and data, received two consecutive commendations for its innovative use of technology and was named one of the Most Innovative Law Firms - Business of Law for two years in a row by the Financial Times. The firm was also recently identified by BTI Consulting as an innovation “Mover and Shaker” for its high level of client service, its innovative approach to tackling client issues and its strategic use of technology and was a finalist for the American Lawyer Industry Awards for best law firm/client team and best business team. Before joining Ballard Spahr, I held similar roles at two Am Law 25 firms. I am a 2003 graduate of Rutgers School of Law and before leaving private practice, I managed complex commercial litigation matters. I have my Six Sigma Green Belt, am a Certified Legal Project Manager, an Accredited Legal Pricing Professional (ALPP) and an Accredited Legal Project Manager (ALPM).My areas of specialty include client relationship management, client pitches and presentations, value based pricing, matter management, budget and work plan creation, selection of diverse teams, data analytics, pricing and profitability modeling, process improvement, development of budget to actual reporting and the development of client focused technology applications.
