Baltimore City College is a full-service community college in Baltimore,
Maryland. Baltimore's three campuses provide a combination of over 60
degrees and certificates. In addition to comprehensive academics, the
school offers the full range of student services. Academics include professional and scholastic degrees and diplomas in: * Arts and Sciences * Business Administration * Early Childhood Education * Fashion Design * General Studies * Legal Assisting * Nursing * Physical Therapy Assisting Students may also take continuing education courses for purposes of
enrichment or career enhancement. Other options include basic education
classes in GED prep and English as a Second Language. Services are equally diverse and include apprenticeships, career
counseling, transfer services, programs for veterans and tutoring. The
college also participates in TRIO, a program for low-income and
first-generation college students. All students may apply for financial aid programs, including
scholarships. Some scholarship requirements include strong academic
performance, an essay or both. Other types of financial aid are given to
those with a strong financial need. These other aid sources mainly
consist of loans and grants. Many students may receive aid from several
sources. Degree or diploma applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. An
Accuplacer exam is also required of all incoming students. Those applying
to healthcare programs will need to fulfill other admissions
requirements, as well. Continuing education students or students taking a
