A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTOR Baltimore Country Club's Group Fitness Instructors are motivated, high energy, and passionate individuals who are expected to provide an effective, safe, fun, and motivating class for our members! The Group Exercise Instructor is responsible for the design, development, and administration of high-quality group fitness programs that can be delivered to a large, diversified membership at Baltimore Country Club. Specific areas of accountability include but are not limited to the design and organization of group classes, assisting members with their fitness and wellness goals through exceptional service, creating a high energy and inclusive environment where members are excited to participate, and providing multiple levels of difficulty for differing levels of fitness or mobility. The Instructor will work with the Director of Fitness and Wellness to develop specialty classes and events for other areas of BCC such as tennis, squash, golf, and aquatics to create an all-encompassing environment. QUALIFICATIONS All instructors must hold and maintain a current group fitness certification; ACE, AAAI, NASM, AFAA group fitness certifications are preferred. Specialty certifications will be required for Reformer Pilates instructor(s). Current CPR, First Aid and AED certification.
