Cons of working at Banfield Pet Hospital
Poor quality due to a push for higher pet count than realistic despite verbal and written communication that the staff and doctors are overwhelmed and unable to provide the best care possible. Poor pay and benefits for the work required to be done. Upper management does not listen or take any feedback into account. They allow their employees to be underpaid, cut hours, take any and all abuse from clients and doctors, and generally provide a work environment that advertises mental, financial, and health quality for its employees, but truly fails in delivery. They are such a well paid corporation (nearly 1billion last year) yet allows staff to remain underpaid and cuts hours daily without care for those of us trying to feed our families. They could not care less about their employees. Don't fall for the great advertisement like the rest of us did.

Cons of working at Banfield Pet Hospital
The lack of respect for me as a technician and my personal life. They offer wonderful PTO, and give Floating Holidays. It’s not worth it to me to be called in weekly and not be able to spend time with my husband. If ever we are sick we are basically put down and our needs are not even valid.
