Educate, review and evaluate clinical practice and documentation integrity during onsite visits and during virtual review.
Perform and implement compliance programs including Mock surveys, system reviews and routine facility visits to ensure ongoing compliance with federal/state and Company policies.
Conduct and facilitate regional meetings and facilitate orientation for all newly hired Director of Nursing.
Function as a “Governing Body” for facilities they serve.
Support and serve as a helpful resource to Center and staff.

Provide excellent communication and organizational skills.
Able to effectively self-manage and prioritize competing duties at multiple Centers.
Must be able to set, communicate, and regularly adhere to schedule involving multiple sites to visit.

Minimum Qualifications
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon or state of Washington
Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
Must have a minimum 3 years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing/ Long Term Care Facility; five (5) years of experience in Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing Facility settings.
Prior demonstrable experience developing, implementing, and monitoring systems that ensure clinical excellence, compliance with regulations, standards and policies of the company.
Demonstrate familiarity with applicable federal and state guidelines in relation to Skilled Nursing Facilities.
Expertise in Infection Control/Antimicrobial Stewardship.
Knowledge and understanding of Quality Measures and governmental five star programs to drive quality within Centers.
In-depth understanding of clinical and regulatory compliance requirements (Federal and State).
Experience in the principles of Quality Assurance and QAPI processes.

GENERAL PURPOSE:
Under general direction, provides oversight on contracted maintenance services for one of the following infrastructure areas: Signals, SCADA, Track, Traction Power; creates, reviews, comments, and approves standard maintenance procedures for maintenance; reviews, approves, and processes tooling, equipment, and vehicles for rail maintenance; develops, maintains, and oversees the maintenance contractor's budget; oversees and approves maintenance training; conducts daily and weekly meetings with maintenance managers, superintendents, contracts and procurement, and various operational engineering interests; assists with development, review, oversight, and stock levels of material inventory; directs warranty management as outlined in the IGA; provides ongoing technical assistance and troubleshooting services to the right-of-way maintenance crews; and provides overall technical support and expertise to Link Operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The following duties are a representative summary of the primary duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional, position-specific duties.
Administers and coordinates multiple budgets and projects concurrently while ensuring that costs are controlled by utilizing the competitive bid process; researches multiple avenues such as government surplus, utilizing state contracts for procurement; procures tools and equipment necessary for operating the Central Link light rail; serves as procurement point of contact for the operating company that the Agency has hired to run the light rail system; and researches and coordinates with contracts and finance to ensure that procurement protocol is followed.Responsible for keeping all of the system maintenance plans current and up to date, which involves working with numerous departments for input and data gathering; assists in developing maintenance procedures, reviewing them for content, and ensures they are implemented on schedule; reviews or drafts agreements, scopes, and work plans both internally for our operating company and externally with other municipalities as necessary and requested.
Coordinates with resident engineers, external vendors, operating/maintenance contractor, and Agency staff to ensure that all spare parts are identified, inspected, counted, and entered in to the maintenance system; ensures that all assets are tracked, protected, and maintained to a level consistent with Agency agreements and internal policies.
Reviews all systems as they are modified or turned over from construction to ensure they are safe, completed, function as designed, and any necessary tools or equipment are supplied or procured; reviews future extensions and construction activities; reviews and comments on all designs for construction and coordinates all activities directly or indirectly involving operating/maintenance contractor.
Works with resident engineers, consultants, and vendors to approve and review all training programs, operations and maintenance (O&M) and O&M manuals for accuracy; provides comments and ensures manuals are corrected and distributed; coordinates all systems and equipment training necessary for maintenance; and ensures that all employee certifications and annual training is completed and evaluates for any necessary updates or improvements.
Monitors all craft employees to ensure safe work performance and ensures work is completed according to APTA, AREMA, NFPA, SMP's, Manufacturer's Recommendations, and company policies or industry standards.
Performs a variety of administrative functions such as data collection, filing, and report preparation; creates and works with data bases and spread sheets used for a variety of analysis and reports; produces and drafts reports, plans, and presentations as necessary/assigned; and reviews all invoices and expenditures for accuracy and authorizations.
Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, priorities, and budgets for assigned projects, services, and functional area within the Division; and makes recommendations and forecasts for future funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies.
Provides support to the division/department and others on matters as directed; serves as staff on a variety of committees as assigned; prepares and presents staff reports and other necessary correspondence; attends and participates in professional group meetings; maintains awareness of new trends and developments in the fields related to area of assignment; incorporates new developments as appropriate; ensures processes, policies, and practices are interpreted and applied consistently and effectively; ensures accountability and compliance with all current and applicable state and federal laws, Agency policies and procedures, rules and regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Lake Union Drydock is located in Seattle, Washington, and was established over 100 years ago with a proud history of building vessels from yachts and racing sailboats to minesweepers in WWII and the Korean War. Today, the company provides maintenance and repair across commercial, tug, research vessels, and other market segments, servicing vessels from the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, the West Coast, and across the Pacific. This union relationship allows flexibility for a wide range in the number of active craft workers, ranging from 20 to 200.
Lake Union Drydock (LUDD) is seeking an experienced and skilled machinist to lead and supervise the shipyard machine shop. The LUDD machine shop foreman is responsible for supervising machinist and mechanic work in the shipyard. This includes oversight for all equipment and labor assignments, planning all aspects needed for labor including materials, tools, equipment, executing change order procedures, and conducting job hazard analysis.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

o Prepares condition found reports (CFR), change orders, and reviews job hazard analyses (JHA) for the assigned work activities by hand or using computer software applications such as Word, Excel, or email
o Mentors others in how to prepare CFR, JHA, and change orders
o Orders materials for production as needed to complete the project and to assure timely receipt
o Responsible for timely and accurate completion of daily employee timecard submissions
o Maintain appropriate records of vessel history, measurements, circumstances, tooling, drawings, subcontractors, and other various details related to effective and efficient production
o Update job costs, including tracking costs for materials, subcontractors, and internal charges
o Maintain vendor insurance certificates and W-9 forms
o Reconcile and scan back-up documentation for accounts payable items
o Assist with credit card reconciliations and other financial data entry projects
o Manage the archiving of account payable records and other important documents
o Coordination of weekly services and reconciliation of the monthly service invoices (refuse disposal, shredder services, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a machinist in a marine or industrial environment
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a machinist supervisor
• Leadmen or foreman level experience as a marine machinist, with recent experience in a shipyard environment is preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
• Knowledge of marine-related equipment, ship repair, and construction techniques
• Knowledge of ship repair sequencing, activities, & shipyard safety practices
• Ability to apply basic math to evaluation and repair of equipment being serviced by the machine shop
• Ability to read, understand, and apply information from ship repair specifications, blueprints, technical procedures, and regulations
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees
• Ability to direct, coach, and motivate the work of others
• Ability to resolve conflicts & coordinate multiple details related to various projects simultaneously
