Leumi CEO and leadership

Avner Mendelson has been with the Leumi Group since 2007 and was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Leumi - US in September 2013. During his tenure, he served as Head of Group Strategy and International Operations, as well as Chief of Staff. He has also served on Leumi’s US Board of Directors since 2012.

Prior to joining the Leumi Group, Mendelson was a Senior Consultant with McKinsey & Company in London. Before that, he served in the Israeli Defense Forces for three years.

Mendelson earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and his MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He serves on both the Northeast Regional Board and the Board of Regents for the American Friends of The Hebrew University.

Carl Nelor N. is a Chief Information Security Officer at Bank Leumi USA and is based in New York, New York. He has worked as Consultant- Program lead- IT Transformation at SOCIETE GENERALE SA, Account Manager at Reportive Software, and Project Manager- Transformation and crisis management at SOCIETE GENERALE SA. Carl studied at Gabelli School of Business - Graduate between 2003 and 2005, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne between 1992 and 1994, and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne between 1994 and 1996.

Armen Karozichian is a Chief Credit Officer at Bank Leumi USA and is based in Greater New York City Area. He has worked as Director - Credit Risk Management at CIT GROUP INC; Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Officer at Santander Bank, N. A.; and Vice President - Client Management at KBC Bank & Verzekering. Armen studied at NYU Stern School of Business - MBA and NYU Stern School of Business - BS.

Christopher Polito is a Chief Regional Credit Officer: New York Real Estate - SVP at Bank Leumi USA and is based in Greater New York City Area. He has worked as Senior Commercial Credit Analyst - AVP at Bank Leumi USA, Relationship Manager: New York Real Estate Lending - VP at Bank Leumi USA, and Consumer Loan Underwriter at Independence Community Bank. Christopher attended Florida State University - FSU.
