As EVP and CFO, Domingo Rodriguez is responsible for managing Bank of Georgetown’s strategic financial plan and supervising all financial management operations in a manner that ensures both customer and investor needs are fulfilled. Born and raised in Galicia, Spain, Mr. Rodriguez has been helping individuals and organization’s achieve their financial goals as a banker in the Greater Washington area for more than 30 years and is active in supporting its small and minority-owned business communities. His extensive experience in strategic financial planning, risk management and controls, asset liability management and investment portfolio expertise are key to his leadership role at Bank of Georgetown. Before joining Bank of Georgetown in 2005, Mr. Rodriguez was a member of senior management teams with variety of community and regional banks throughout the D.C. area. Specifically, he held CFO positions with Cardinal Bank in Tyson’s Corner, Va., Sequoia Bank in Bethesda, Md., and Grand Bank, also in Bethesda. Previously he also was Senior Vice President and Controller with George Mason Bank in Fairfax, Va. Mr. Rodriguez began his banking career by working for twenty years with a financial institution that now is part of Bank of America. He is active in various charitable and non-for profit organizations across the Washington Metropolitan area. Mr. Rodriguez serves as Director and Treasurer of Martha’s Table and served for eight years as Director and Treasurer of the PG Financial Services Corporation, an entity that provides special financing for small and minority-owned businesses. Mr. Rodriguez is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from University of Maryland and graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
