Bank of Hope company history timeline

2000

2000 - A complete renovation of the existing building and a 1400 square foot addition with full basement was added.

2009

The acquisition of Mirae Bank was completed in June 2009 strengthening its presence in Southern California.

2013

The BankAsiana acquisition in October 2013 nearly doubled the Bank’s presence in the New York/New Jersey markets and the Saehan Bank transaction in November 2013 further solidified its presence in Southern California, prior to the second merger of equals.

2015

2015 - The decision was made to open a third location in Herington, Kansas.

2016

The second merger of equals forming Bank of Hope was completed on July 29, 2016 between BBCN Bank and Wilshire Bank.
