We act as partners to interject project management discipline to work efforts. The team works across silos and moves from topic to topic while continuing to maintain and follow program management rules of governance. The PMAE is an organization consisting of over 80 program management professionals, each with a very robust and diverse background.
The work will vary across engagements but generally will range from regulatory compliance to risk management. This position offers opportunity for growth while gaining practical hands-on experience necessary for end-to-end program delivery on large programs.

Own and execute core PM processes; drive individual workstreams; continually improve the process and educate PM team and stakeholders on process requirements and enhancements.
Support dependency identification and management.

Actively maintain project/program plans and drive successful completion of project tasks and/or milestones.
Manage critical program documentation including governance charts, charters, RACI charts, communication plans, and metrics.
Leverage Citi PM tools to support effective program delivery; educate PM teams and stakeholders on use of PM tools.
Ensure compliance with Citi's project procedure.
Own and create reporting cadence to align with management reporting and meeting deliverables.
Review status reports submitted for relevancy, correctness, and provide challenge to content with the submitter to enable quality reporting.
Analyze documentation, data and metrics provided to identify risk, performance and quality issues and significant variances and trends and develop reports for senior management.
Generate metrics as needed (e.g., plans and reporting) to demonstrate progress against objectives.
Assist in the documentation of meetings and in the tracking and timely resolution of outcomes and follow-up actions.
Drive accountability and engagement.
Provide transparency by interfacing with Org PMO, Citi Program Management Council, Internal Audit, Consultants, and other groups outside of PMAE for the gathering and sharing of information.
Maintain alignment to the approved engagement strategy.
Execute active risk management with complete impact assessments and actionable mitigation plans. Forecast and make risk actionable for our stakeholders.
Own data quality and ensures output is in alignment with controls environment.
Escalate appropriately, completely and with solution options.

Associate Program Manager Assistant Vice President
Citigroup 4.6
Tampa, FL jobs
The Program Management Advisory and Execution (PMAE) is the only enterprise level resource that supports all business units across the bank to plan, execute and govern complex cross-functional initiatives, programs, and projects.
PMAE is not a technology-centric project management office, however its work may include the integration of the technology dependencies into cross-functional business initiatives as part of a larger body of work.
This is a highly matrixed organization where your primary manager will not be providing daily oversight of your actions and program management skills. You will be expected to operate independently, while interacting with your clients and stakeholders on a day-to-day basis. As initiatives, programs, and projects close, you will then be assigned to a new body of work with new sponsors and new stakeholders, while maintaining your primary PMAE supervisory chain.
**What you will be doing:**
This is a foundational position for PMAE with an expectation of some prior exposure to PM lifecycle and processes. You will work to support complex initiatives, programs, and projects through all activities in the life cycle by owning management of core PM processes (i.e., risk/issue management, reporting, plan management.) This position offers opportunity for growth while gaining practical hands-on experience necessary for end-to-end program delivery on large programs.
**Responsibilities:**
Support all activities in a project/program life cycle such as:
+ Own and execute core PM processes; drive individual workstreams; continually improve the process and educate PM team and stakeholders on process requirements and enhancements.
+ Support dependency identification and management.
+ Develop progress dashboards at executive level based on analysis of plans and risk.
+ Actively maintain project/program plans and drive successful completion of project tasks and/or milestones.
+ Manage critical program documentation including governance charts, charters, RACI charts, communication plans, and metrics.
+ Leverage Citi PM tools to support effective program delivery; educate PM teams and stakeholders on use of PM tools.
+ Ensure compliance with Citi's project procedure.
+ Own and create reporting cadence to align with management reporting and meeting deliverables.
+ Review status reports submitted for relevancy, correctness, and provide challenge to content with the submitter to enable quality reporting.
+ Analyze documentation, data and metrics provided to identify risk, performance and quality issues and significant variances and trends and develop reports for senior management.
+ Generate metrics as needed (e.g., plans and reporting) to demonstrate progress against objectives.
+ Assist in the documentation of meetings and in the tracking and timely resolution of outcomes and follow-up actions.
+ Drive accountability and engagement.
+ Provide transparency by interfacing with Org PMO, Citi Program Management Council, Internal Audit, Consultants, and other groups outside of PMAE for the gathering and sharing of information.
+ Maintain alignment to the approved engagement strategy.
+ Execute active risk management with complete impact assessments and actionable mitigation plans. Forecast and make risk actionable for our stakeholders.
+ Own data quality and ensures output is in alignment with controls environment.
+ Escalate appropriately, completely and with solution options.
+ Proactively and appropriately offer 3rd party objectivity and challenge to plans, strategy, timelines, and risk.
+ Effectively prioritize as needed while handling multiple time sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment.
**Requirements:**
+ 5-8 years of professional experience.
+ 2+ years of experience in supporting initiatives, programs and/or projects.
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
+ Technical proficiencies in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
