Kitchenette/Break room: cleans and disinfects sinks, counter tops, tables, floors, chairs, refrigerator, and other appliances as appropriate. Replenishes break room supplies as appropriate such as hand soap and paper towels. Floors: sweeps, mops, and/or vacuums facility floors using equipment such as brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners. Floors may be rugs, carpets, wood, laminate, cement, ceramic, etc. Remove all debris. Other floor work such as scrubbing, steam cleaning, shampooing, waxing, and polishing may be required. Furniture/Equipment: Dusts, cleans, and/or polishes furniture such as desks, shelves, bookcases, partitions, and the like as required by the facility. Upholstered furniture may require the use of a vacuum cleaner. Remove dust and cobwebs from walls, door, and window sills. Windows/Glass: cleans and removes smudges from windows, mirrors, and glass. Trash: Empties wastebaskets, trash receptacles, and recyclables and transports to proper disposal area. Notifies appropriate personnel as supplies and equipment are needed for cleaning duties. Performs other related duties as assigned. Education/Experience: A high-school diploma or General Education Degree is preferred but not required. At least one year of experience in the janitorial or related field of work is preferred but not required. Certifications/Licenses: A valid Ohio Drivers' License is preferred but not required. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently or regularly required to walk; stand; stoop; kneel; crawl; bend; climb; use arms and hands to finger, handle, reach over head, feel, or grasp objects, tools, or controls; push and pull; frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs; Vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person on our touch screen computer system. Essential Functions/Skills: Applicant must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator). Must be able to make correct monetary change.     Job Description Hopewell Team members provide a variety of member service functions involving the receiving and/or disbursing of funds. (i.e. check or money order). Every day involves constant and direct dealing with credit union members and potential members, and requires the ability to accurately record information and communicate effectively. The teller processes transactions for members personally, over the telephone, and through the mail. Floating Tellers must have open availability Monday through Saturday. (Part-time 20-28 hours per week in Heath/Johnstown/Newark) BASIC JOB DUTIES Assumes responsibility for the efficient, effective, and accurate performance of Teller functions. Greets members and processes financial transactions, personally, over the telephone or through the mail, including opening and closing accounts, disbursing cash, issuing checks, etc. Responds to various members' inquiries regarding the status of accounts, account discrepancies, product and/or service offers, and assists members. Maintains current documentation. Assists other tellers when necessary. Maintains and balances cash drawer. Refers product and service recommendations to help members meet their financial goals. Monies are balanced and any discrepancies promptly resolved. A balancing record that meets established standards is maintained. Good business relations exist with members. Members' problems or questions are courteously and promptly resolved. Good working relationships and coordination exist with area personnel and with management. Assistance is provided to other Tellers and staff as needed. Supervisors are appropriately informed of area activities. Required reports and records are accurate, complete, and timely. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus six months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must obtain State of Ohio Notary Public certification. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of Teller policies and procedures. Basic understanding of Credit Union operations. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Abilities generally acquired on the job in 12 months. SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to operate customary office machines such as photocopier, fax, adding machine, typewriter, postage machine, check encoding machine, check writer, microfiche machine, and computer. Needs to have good keyboarding skills, good communication skills, and accuracy in their work. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION TALKING: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly. AVERAGE HEARING: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
