DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Psychological Services Associate, you will have a vital role in providing mental health services to incarcerated individuals at SCI Phoenix. Your responsibilities will include evaluating and diagnosing inmates in collaboration with a Licensed Psychologist Manager, in addition to delivering counseling and psychotherapy services. You will also partner with other health care professionals to develop treatment plans and interventions for the incarcerated population's mental health and emotional needs. Additionally, you may administer psychological and intelligence tests under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist Manager. Your work will involve facilitating mental health treatment and crisis-related services for individuals of the correctional facility. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40 hours per week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Sunday - Thursday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $63,301.00 (before taxes).
