At Levo Credit Union, we understand the importance of work-life balance. Our Member Service Associates enjoy a rotating shift schedule from Monday to Friday, between 7:15 am - 6:15 pm. Additionally, you will work three Saturdays a month (8:45 am - 12:15 pm), with the flexibility to adjust Saturday hours during the week. This ensures a 40-hour work week for you and allows for some scheduling flexibility. You will generally have a half day on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Member Service Associate/Teller Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
Welcome on-site visitors, determine the nature of business and guide visitors to appropriate personnel or help them directly.
Receive checks and cash for deposit in person, via mail or by night deposit. Verify amount and examine checks for endorsements.
Cash checks and complete withdrawals and pays out money after verification of signatures and member balances.
Enter members' transactions into computer to record transactions and issue computer generated receipts.
Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
Order daily supply of cash and count incoming cash.
Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compare total amounts with data displayed on computer screen.
Explain, promote and sell products or services that will benefit the member.
Research and resolve member inquiries.
Complete transactions for money orders, cash advances, gift cards, savings bonds, cashier's checks, verifications, and loan payments when necessary.
Assist other departments and areas as needed (i.e. filing, scanning, phones, etc.)
Use CDM/Recyclers to assist members in transactions.
Member Service Associate/Teller Education and Experience: To excel in this role, you should have six to twelve months of cash handling and customer service experience, feel comfortable using a computer and learning new technology, and have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. You should enjoy a collaborative environment that strives for above-and-beyond service to our members and excellence in all transactions.

Qualifications

What will you do:
Accountabilities
File Maintenance
Perform file maintenance in an efficient and accurate manner that aligns with department goals and objectives.
Scan and maintain credit file documents in electronic document management system.
Forward critical documents to Loan QA in a timely manner.
Pull UCC searches, credit bureau reports, flood determinations, Onboard Advisor reports, and organizational documents.
Update and review ticklers and document exceptions.
Establish Loan Documents
Create loan documentation that is accurate and in compliance with laws and regulations.
Prepare line sheets & loan worksheets in accordance with approval documentation.
Review accuracy of loan documents pre-closing and verify completion post close.
Complete supplemental documentation required for loan closing and include in loan packet (Statement of Intent for Joint Credit, Certification of Beneficial Ownership, Sweep Agreements, etc.).
Organize loan packet in a professional manner.
Liaison
Serve as the liaison between lenders and other Bank departments.
Process/enter basic loan transactions into system by direction of customer or lender (loan payments, advances, transfers).
Complete Business Solutions Interest Forms and waiver/refund request forms.
Research exceptions from Loan QA and assist the lender in resolving them.
Compliance
Maintain a working knowledge of guidelines, policies, laws and regulations associated with work responsibilities. Ensure compliance in processes and related communication(s). Monitor and audit work regularly. Identify, address and/or escalate issues appropriately.
Develop an understanding of Loan Policy and Loan Guidelines.
Collect and record data for completion of CRA forms.
Gather and review documentation for new customers to complete CIP forms accurately.
Collect and verify documentation for completion of Beneficial Ownership Certificates.
Qualifications
Secondary education in related field preferred. Relevant work experience preferred, including banking or related field, or a combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet accountabilities and required competencies of the position.

About the role
The BankTeller/Customer Service Representative role processes transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be the “frontline” of our bank and will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of transactions daily, communicating with different types of clients and selling the bank's products/services.
Position is located in Rapid City and is not a remote position.
