Job Summary: The department of Tax Services with the County of Adams is searching for someone to assist the public and other members of the department with clerical duties related to the overall tax process. This includes assisting citizens with completion of forms, updating files, calculating taxes, and accepting delinquent tax payments. This person will be responsible for gathering required job and occupation information for the school and occupation census for new and existing residents, processing changes into the County's assessment system for the County tax rolls, and submitting census data to the schools for them to maintain census rolls. This person will also assist the tax collectors with data collection.
Minimum Requirements:
