This position requires the handling of customer transactions in regards to receiving and paying out money, keep records of money and negotiable instruments involved in financial institutions various transactions. Ensure transactions meet compliance with federal, state, and local banking regulations and procedures. Withdrawal and/or deposit monetary instruments for customer. Available to supply customers with help in the areas of accounting information.
Essential Functions:
Maintains and balances personal teller cash drawer
Processes deposits, withdrawals, check-cashing requests, savings bonds redemptions, credit card advances, commercial deposits, loan payments, and cashier checks.
Gather information for Currency Transaction Reports
Processes buying and selling of monies to/from the vault
Carry out special services for customers, such as receiving debit card applications and check orders
Prepare, verify, and process safe deposit box rental payments
Ensure vault cash balances are correct
Count and roll coins for customers as needed
Load ATM cassettes with correct denominations under dual control
Demonstrates knowledge and expertise of basic teller functions and supports the Company's overall mission, standards, policies and procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.
Ensures customer satisfaction and reports any concerns to supervisor
