Overview/Purpose:

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. + Understand the overall TDS client origination strategy, particularly that of CIB
+ Support activity to increase sales revenue by adding new clients and increasing the penetration rate of trade finance products and services
+ Become familiar with TDS clients across industries such as, but not limited to, Communication, Media, and Telecom; Diversified; Consumer Products; Industrials; and Power
+ Review credit tools and financials to understand clients' requirements
+ Develop relationships with key internal business partners: CIB, GTB, Debt Capital Markets ("DCM"), Global Markets Bond Desk
+ Manage NY deal pipeline via Customer Relationship Management ("CRM") tools - Salesforce and internal tracking
+ Work closely with GTF teams in Toronto and Vancouver
+ Conduct regular market reads to gauge risk-based market pricing
+ Pitch Involvement
+ Prepare pitch decks & term sheets
+ Arrange / engage in client calls and preparation of call reports
+ Assist in term sheet negotiation
+ Collaborate with product partners - Trade Finance Operations ("TFO"), DCM, Derivatives, FX, Rates, ensuring appropriate presentation contribution
+ Support deal communication with Investment Banking & Corporate Banking relationship managers
+ Assist in closing new business
+ As new business is awarded, facilitate all aspects of facility approval, including Know Your Customer ("KYC"), & instrument issuance
+ Assist Originator with review & negotiation of facility documentation with clients
+ Assist in execution of trade finance strategy
**Education & Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree
+ 2+ years of experience
+ Familiarity with financial statements and understanding of corporate credit analysis
+ Strong analytical and quantitative skills
+ Strong presentation creation skills (PowerPoint, Excel)
+ Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
+ High level of self-motivation and initiative
+ Thorough understanding of financial markets
+ Global political and financial awareness
+ Excellent organization and prioritization skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt presentation style to client
