About the opportunity:
You will manage the application origination relationship between FHF and dealers, working methodically to develop a thorough understanding of applicants' profiles and assess risk by reviewing application information and conducting preliminary phone interviews when needed. Additionally, you are responsible for helping the team meet all monthly and quarterly origination goals by booking approved applications. This will be a full-time, remote position.
What you will do:
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Make timely and accurate credit decisions within the company's fair lending, credit, and collateral guidelines.
Establish and maintain good relationships with dealers.
Work with the Outside Sales team to improve app flow, look-to-book, and credit quality of our dealer partners.
Negotiate with dealers to buy deals on the best possible terms for FHF while still maintaining dealer satisfaction.
Follow up on deals to try to capture business and solicit dealers for new or more business.
Conduct preliminary credit interviews with prospective clients to validate critical information (when applicable).
Perform related administrative, clerical, or customer service duties.

Raccoon Valley Bank is seeking a full-time CreditAnalyst for its Grimes, Iowa location. The CreditAnalyst assists the Commercial and Agricultural Lenders in the administration of their portfolios by completing financial statement spreading, analysis, and preparing loan presentations for submission for approval. The CreditAnalyst understands the Bank's Loan Policy and risk rating systems in order to assist Lenders with policy exception identification and accuracy of relationship risk rating.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1) Excellent internal and external customer service and communication skills required (both written and oral); ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
2) Ability to collect data and calculate and interpret mathematical functions necessary for the responsibilities of this position and draw valid conclusions.
3) Assess the creditworthiness of loan applicants, judging their suitability as borrowers as well as the precise terms (interest rate, repayment schedule, etc.) on which credit may be granted to them.
4) Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Maintains control of the request, submission, and receipt of financial statements from borrowers and prepares necessary analysis documentation.

Job Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the loan process and follow up on vendor work to ensure completion.

Process advances, payments, overdrafts, invoices, check requests, booking packages, maintenance requests, and research requests.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
