Position Overview
The HVAC Service Technician will perform inspections, installation, maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical systems. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to perform maintenance and repairs on commercial/industrial HVAC equipment.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and service commercial HVAC equipment; furnaces, RTU's, makeup air units, heat pumps, condensers, controls, etc.
Successfully troubleshoots and services large building systems and controls, including: cooling towers, VRF, VFD, boiler systems, VAV, CRAC and some Chiller systems
Perform maintenance and repairs when needed
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults within HVAC equipment
Communicate with clients to ensure work is completed to their satisfaction
Must be on time and ready to complete the task at hand
Submit required paperwork on a daily basis
Maintain cleanliness of vehicle, tools, and equipment
Ability to use the required tools to complete the required task
Follow all safety protocols
Understand and wear personal protection equipment (PPE)
Follow all established procedures and standards communicated by management
Mentor apprentices/junior techs
Qualifications
8 or more years' experience in a HVAC Service Role
Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems service, repair and maintenance
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability and willingness to work standard business hours
Excellent problem-solving skills
Organized and detail oriented
Customer service skills
Verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.

2 years of experience as an HVAC service technician
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work from heights or small crawl spaces
Valid driver's license and a good driving record
