We average 60-80 deliveries per month. As an RN Operations Support Specialist on this team, you will help coordinate the educational and on-boarding needs of the unit. If you have a passion for seeing new hires and new grads have a successful on-boarding experience and engagement with their new unit, you will find the position rewarding. You work collaboratively with the nursing leadership to roll out education on new products, procedures, clinical practice changes, and education on strategic and quality initiatives. This opportunity requires previous and recent WIS experience to best meet the needs of the team. POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for supporting nurse leadership in the planning, development and execution of facility education for clinicians, supporting the on-boarding and orientation of newly hired registered nurses, career development and effective internal clinical communications. This role performs under the guidance and direction of the chief nursing officer or designee and serves as a liaison between all disciplines by effectively communicating, educating and problem solving. This position proactively supports the quality and continuity of services throughout the healthcare systems and assists in resolution of systems issues and enforces facility/unit/department policy/procedures and standards of care. This position coordinates oversight of quality, risk management, safety and nursing standards and is a role model and resource person for providing quality patient care and maintaining clinical competency within the facility/unit/department; collaborates with Clinical Education to coordinate and support the on-boarding and precepting of newly hired nurses (this includes supporting programs and communication within the facility); develops and coordinates system and facility initiatives to promote clinical career development and lateral nurse pathways and may lead and implement facility clinical initiatives. This position contributes to society through activities that lead to excellent patient outcomes through timely, effective, efficient, equitable, safe care; and actively participates in the improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes, such activities may include participating in professional organizations. Qualifications * Minimum two years of IT support experience or an equivalent combination of an associate degree in a related field and/or professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, or similar vendors). * Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, PC troubleshooting, and peripheral devices; familiarity with mac OS is a plus. * Proven ability to install, configure, and support hardware and peripherals, including printers and scanners, as well as deploy and configure Windows OS client systems. * Working knowledge of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users. * Self-motivated problem solver capable of independently diagnosing and resolving technical issues using documentation, web resources, and best practices. * Ability to lift 10-20 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally for special projects. * Valid driver's license, personal auto insurance, and eligibility for coverage under company insurance policies. * On-site position with the flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.
