Summary of Position
The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks to our guests. They will be required to mix and match ingredients to create classic and innovative drinks in accordance with guests' needs and expectations. This role will contribute to the organization with the empowerment to respond to the guests' needs and are driven to create unforgettable moments that will make all the difference to our guests.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with hotel standard drink recipes.
* Ability to sell or influence others for up selling and suggestive options.
* Maintain complete knowledge of all beverage liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware and garnishes.
* Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests.
* Check storage areas for proper supplies, organization, and cleanliness.
* Open and serve wine/champagne bottles in accordance with departmental standards.
* Anticipate guests' needs with a sense of urgency by responding promptly and efficiently.
* Handle guest complaints in the most expedient, professional, and respectful manner.
* Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
* Own and be accountable for handling an assigned house bank and all cash handling procedures as per hotel standard

* Working as a team and effectively communicating with management, bartenders, and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and/or other Colleagues.
* Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of Food & Beverage when needed.
Qualifications
* 3 years restaurant experience and/or 2 years' experience bartending in a similar establishment
* Must have extensive knowledge of Spirits, Wine and Food
* Must possess good attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
* Excellent customer service skills and a Positive attitude are required
* Ability to read and write in English proficiently
* Must be flexible with schedule- Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts.
* Must be 21 years of age and possess RBS and Food Handlers cards
Physical Requirements
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods of time, twist at the neck and trunk, bend at the waist and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, reach overhead, above shoulders and horizontally. Employees will use hands to handle objects and tools and operate service equipment. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40-pound objects. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees may use vision to monitor food quality and quantity and may also order supplies, etc. Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry heavy trays and equipment, as well as delicate China and barware
* Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
* Job requires indoor and outdoor service in fluctuating weather
