SUMMARY:
This part-time position is responsible for providing high quality customer service during all Save Mart Center events, to achieve customer and client satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sets up each assigned catering station(s) as needed for the event.
Will greet and service each guest with the upmost highest level of custom service.
Enforce all liquor laws, rules and regulations which apply to ASM Global operations.
Verify and account for all food and beverage inventory.
Maintain proper sanitation of work area.
Follow proper safety practices in the work area.
Requests identification for every guest purchasing alcohol.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Suites & Catering Manager or Director of Food and Beverage.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have ability to take directions and effectively perform the work.
Must have knowledge and ability to set up and clean up catering stations.
Must speak, read and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors, clients and employees.
Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance.
Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of each shift.
Must be able to carry and lift up to 30 lbs. and according to industry standards.
Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Must have graduated from High School or the equivalent of the (GED) certificate.
Must have at least 1-year front of house food serving experience in a banquet/catering environment.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong knowledge of sanitary practices.
Maintains proper grooming and dress code standards.
Work ethic encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment.
