THE ROLE The Server reports to Food + Beverage Leadership and works in a team environment with other F+B professionals, including bartenders, servers, dishwashers, cooks, and chefs. It is critical the person in this position possess a background and knowledge in service techniques and has a natural ability to manage time. The Server is responsible for creating memorable guest experiences, and not being only an order-taker. They are responsible for the timely and friendly delivery of food and drinks. In depth menu knowledge is necessary to ensure safe service to guests with allergies and restrictions. Ongoing beverage tasting and training will allow the Server to expand their knowledge of beer, wine and spirits. All of our service team members are expected to be reliable and responsible. The Server will arrive changed, polished and mentally ready to work on time.     The Wilds Golf Club is looking for energized and enthusiastic team members in the events department. Events/Banquets are a fast-paced environment that requires thinking on your feet. The ideal candidate likes working closely as part of a team. As a banquet server, you will help execute event set up and tear down. You will play a key role in ensuring food and beverage services go as smoothly as possible. It is important that the ballroom stays as clean and organized as possible throughout the duration of the event. We also prefer to cross-train in the restaurant for Servers. If you are looking for a full-time position, you could be cross-trained or work part-time in just Events.
