Europa Village is seeking an experienced Banquet Server to provide authentic and anticipatory service to our guests during special events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellent customer service with an outgoing, self-motivated, and energetic personality. This is a part-time hourly position with a Company that operates 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year with the majority of events taking place on weekends. A successful candidate must be available and willing to work as needed outside of "regular" business hours.
Responsibilities of a Banquet Server:
Possess and live Europa Village core values
Review and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) at the beginning of each shift to ensure banquet rooms are set as per client's request
Assists in maintaining the scheduled order of activities for each event
Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert tables with specified tools, wares, and equipment according to Europa Village standards
Greet guests warmly
Have a good understanding of the food and beverages being served and able to answer questions regarding these items
Deliver and serve welcome drinks, appetizers, meals, beverages, condiments and accompaniments
Monitors tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests
Responds to guests requests in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
Ensures the entire table is served at the same time
Other duties as assigned
