Job Summary
The Banquet Server is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests during events and banquets, ensuring that every interaction reflects Invited's Service standards. This role focuses on consistently applying the 3-steps of service-warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells. The Banquet Server role is designed for individuals who excel in providing seamless, high-quality service while managing the dynamic environment of private events. You will work collaboratively with the banquet team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and efficiency.
Reporting Structure
• Reports to the F&B Director, Banquet Director, Banquet Manager or Restaurant Manager
Day to Day
• Uphold service training standards, providing exceptional service throughout all events.
• Execute F&B orders, ensuring a high level of attentiveness and responsiveness.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, including special event features and dietary accommodations.
• Greet members and guests warmly, making them feel welcomed and valued.
• Foster a positive atmosphere through effective communication and proactive service.
• Address any member/guest complaints swiftly using service recovery techniques.
• Prepare and set up banquet areas, ensuring they are organized, clean, and ready for service.
• Complete daily side work, such as stocking supplies and cleaning work areas.
• Support event setup and breakdown, including table arrangements and décor, as needed.
Additional Duties
• Due to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
• Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.

About You
Preferred
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications as required by state and city regulations.
• Previous experience in Food and Beverage service, especially in a banquet or event setting.
• Completion of Invited's F&B Service Training program.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and effectively.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate well with team members.
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases.
• Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required.
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
• Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Stock bottles, beverages, ice and supplies needed during service
Wash and restock barware/glasses
Remove dirty dishes, glasses and silverware, place in respective trays
Prepare bar for service - wipe clean, refill all condiments and supplies at the end of each shift

Overview
The Bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They must be personable, professional and able to work in an ever changing fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Must demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards.
Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol.
Responsible to learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties & spirits available, and be able to learn to suggestively upsell products to guests.
Must pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size.
Must check guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
Must communicate a cut-off to a guest as required.
Listening and responding to any customer requests or concerns.
Bartenders are expected to de-escalate intoxicated guest situations. If a guest becomes confrontational, belligerent, or uses extreme profanity, the bartender may contact management or security as required.
Contact a management member if he/she is unable to resolve or make a decision beyond the scope of standard decision-making.
Request additional product or restock product as required.
Ability to handle cash accurately is required. Employee is responsible for issued bank at his/her bar.
Maintains clean and sanitary work station at all times. Ensures bar equipment is clean & well maintained.
Other duties as assigned such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment as required and assisting with organization of the cooler.
Qualifications
Six months or more experience bartending.
Accurate cash handling skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
