What You'll Do: Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks according to recipes and guest preferences. Create and recommend unique cocktails tailored to guest tastes. Ensure all drinks meet the highest quality presentation standards. Greet and engage guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude, and providing personalized service. Take drink orders from guests and servers, answering inquiries about menu options. Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally to ensure satisfaction. Set up the bar at the beginning of each shift, ensuring that all equipment, garnishes, and supplies are ready for service. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning glassware, surfaces, and waste disposal. Monitor and report inventory levels for beverages, garnishes, and supplies to avoid shortages. Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations, including verifying guest identification. Monitor guest alcohol consumption and enforce responsible service practices. Adhere to all state and local laws regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages. Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service. Assist with restocking supplies and supporting barback duties during busy periods. Foster a positive team environment while delivering exceptional service. Other duties as assigned. Your Qualifications Includes: Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required, with bartending experience highly preferred. Comprehensive understanding of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation techniques, appropriate glassware, and bar equipment, including knowledge of legal regulations for alcohol service (TIPS certification or ability to obtain is required). Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences. Basic proficiency with computer systems for order processing and inventory tracking. Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift. Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. The wage for this position is $16.50.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: * Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service and team members. * Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines. * Maintain par levels of operating supplies and equipment for each bar obtaining replacement stock from warehouse inventory. * Place liquor, fruit, and bar supplies in their designated places following established storage guidelines and safety procedures. * Replace empty beer kegs. * Ensure that garnish items are adequately prepared and stocked. * Fills ice bins with crushed or cubed ice from designated ice machines. * Operate and maintain all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures. * Remove and properly dispose of debris accumulated at the bar in accordance with department procedures. * Clean counter areas, sinks and floors as required to maintain a clean and safe work station. * Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter. * Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements. This includes purchasing and wearing slip resistant safety shoes when performing all job duties. * Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies. * Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Must be able to efficiently and accurately count money and gaming chips and make a change. Possess the ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Team members must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
