Part-time Description The Bistro Server/Barista is responsible for providing excellent guest service by preparing and serving food, beverages, and specialty coffee drinks while ensuring accuracy in cash, credit card, and room charge transactions. Greet guests warmly and ensure a friendly, welcoming environment. Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner. Act as a cashier for the servers when necessary. Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area through disposing of all waste, clearing and cleaning all glassware, and wiping down bar and preparation areas. Assist servers, other bartenders, and barbacks when necessary. Participate in the deep cleaning of the outlet. Operate a cash register and receives payment from customers in cash or credit card, accurately counts and provides change to customers as required, and follows all companys customer service and cash handling policies and procedures. Assist all guests professionally and courteously, with the highest quality of standards for customer service. All other duties assigned by manager or supervisor. Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near and color vision and depth perception. Ability to work primarily with fingers to pick, pinch, type and carry out substantial movements (motions) of the wrists and hands as well.
