The RN - Accreditation Consultant conducts systematic, ongoing individual patient tracers as well as formal and informal system/ process audits in order to assess and provide feedback, education and consultation on Accreditation/Certification standards compliance to all entities within the organization. In conjunction with the manager, the role facilitates the planning, achievement and maintenance of a continuous state of survey readiness within the organization. Responsibilities Conducts patient-specific, system and process audits for all BHI departments/units according to plan. Identifies performance improvements needed for standards compliance. Researches and provides up to date information and education regarding Accreditation/Certification/CMS standards requirements, survey process. Facilitates execution of action plans to achieve/maintain accreditation compliance. Continually provides education to staff and leaders regarding standards revisions and new Accreditation/Certification requirements.
