The assignments will include working with team members in the Risk Management department in managing global compliance of the Vendor Due Diligence policy. Collect and compile exposure data received from various sources for the insurance policy renewals. Maintain the property and auto schedules as well as other spreadsheets needed for a successful renewal.

As requested, troubleshoot any issues with the issuance of certificates, auto ID cards, and surety bonds.

Position Summary
The Intern, Pre-Clinical Manufacturing, Strategic and Technical Services reporting to the Strategic Technical Services Senior Associate of Pre-Clinical Manufacturing will assist with strategic and technical services (STS) activities which support for the manufacture of research and GLP-grade recombinant Adeno-associated virus (rAAV) vectors as part of AskBio's Pre-Clinical Manufacturing (PCM). The rAAV vectors manufactured will support capsid technology development, intellectual property portfolio and progression of internal and external early-stage gene therapy programs.
The Strategic and Technical Services Intern will work closely with individuals responsible for screening and fit-to-platform activities for new and novel rAAV vectors in pre-clinical manufacturing. The position will support in designing and executing studies, investigations, managing process data, and ultimately developing technical expertise to ensure continuity in pre-clinical manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities

As a Fitness Specialist Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn how to do the following:
Educate members concerning safe exercise techniques
Perform exercise assessments and prescribe exercise upon American College of Sports Medicine guidelines
Conduct safe and effective assessments including cardiovascular, strength, flexibility, and body composition analysis; evaluate and interpret data and identify high risk participants and special populations
Aid members spotting and equipment usage
Assist in the maintenance, cleanliness and safety of all equipment
Adhere to departmental and club policies and procedures
Adhere to clients policies and procedures
Assist in wellness and fitness promotions and external events
Perform daily administrative duties under the supervision of the site manager or fitness specialist
Assist in memberships: monthly, internships: signing members up, sending out reminders of payment
Help teach group fitness classes in different styles: step, strength, circuit, Pilates and/or yoga
Helping clients/members with fitness related questions. Performing tours of the facility
Personal Training shadowing and writing out mock PT sessions
Assisting with newsletter, articles, and monthly bulletin board
Compensation:
This is an unpaid internship and does not provide wages. However, at the completion of the program Aquila sponsors an ACE certification exam for the candidate. The program has to be completed in full. The exam fees are paid by Aquila.
Requirements:
Currently in Junior/Senior year of university studying towards Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health Promotion, or related area of study
Customer service oriented
Knowledge of fitness training principles
Punctuality
Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office Products & Network Internet
