In addition, it offers home health care services, such as skilled nursing care, medical social services, occupational therapy, home infusion therapy, medical equipment and supplies, home health aides, physical therapy, speech therapy, wound care, and pastoral support; mother baby care; individual, group, and family counseling; community support; and assistance and employee assistance services/programs. Further, it provides health management services, women's services, sleep disorder, bariatric, pre and post procedure, outpatient surgery, and free physician referral services, as well as laboratory services for physicians in private practice, community clinics, rehabilitation institutes, long term care facilities, medical health spas, and affiliate hospitals. The company was founded in 1951 and is based in Pensacola, Florida. Baptist Hospital, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Baptist Health Care Corporation.
