Since 2014, he has been a member of the Executive Advisory Board of NexPhase Capital Partners and currently serves on the Board of Hawthorne Global Aviation Services. He previously served as Chairman and CEO of two previous NPC portfolio companies; Mxi Technologies and American Global Logistics. Slangerup also recently joined EQT Group as an industrial advisor and currently serves on the Board of Fenix Marine Services, an EQT portfolio company. Concurrent with his work in private equity, Mr. Slangerup previously served in a public service role as CEO of the Port of Long Beach, a primary U.S. gateway for trans-Pacific trade via ships, railroads, and trucks. In addition to his corporate work, Mr. Slangerup serves as a Trustee of his alma mater, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics and master’s in Business Administration.
