Bard Manufacturing Company, Inc., a leader in the HVAC industry, has an opening for a Customer Service Specialist at our Corporate office in Bryan, OH. The hours for this position are 9:00am-6:00pm.

Role Overview:
The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for supporting personnel in the Customer Service Department and providing coverage for Customer Service Representatives during absences and peak business periods. The role involves performing a variety of administrative tasks with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a backup Customer Service Representative as needed, including entering and releasing orders to ensure continuity of service.
Manage the full return goods process, including initiating return requests, resolving issues, finalizing returns, and generating credit memos.
Provide timely pricing and product availability information to support customer inquiries and internal stakeholders.
Process and issue daily shipment invoices accurately and on time.
Organize, attach, and scan shipping documents to ensure proper recordkeeping and accessibility.
Provide front desk support and perform receptionist duties as required.
Liaise with customers and internal teams to support post-sales service activities and address inquiries.
Investigate and resolve freight billing discrepancies to maintain accurate invoicing and customer satisfaction.
Prepare and process credit memos related to customer service activities.
Handle all billing for training sessions and commissioning services.
Maintain and update the Daily Shipping Report to track outgoing shipments and support logistics operations.
Assign LTL freight charges to daily shipments in coordination with the shipping department.
Record and address shipping discrepancies to ensure proper documentation and resolution.
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support department goals and business operations.
High School diploma required; Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred; or 2-5 years customer service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Familiar with administrative and clerical processes, including file and record management, form creation, and standard office procedures and terminology.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience with ERP systems such as Epicor preferred.
Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret written information and instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in task completion.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive and cooperative attitude in team settings.

Process magnesium oxide (MgO) material into finished and semi-finished product via various machine operations and assembly techniques, by:
Accurately reading and interpreting work order instructions.
Proficiently operating straightener, obtaining hourly production rates, and promptly recording material usage and hourly production and hourly production tracking boards.
Correctly assembling components, interconnect wiring/subassemblies, and finished goods.
Precisely following production priorities and sequences to meet Thermocouple customer requirements.
Promptly notify supervisor(s) of any problems that create barriers for meeting output requirements.
Accurately complete quality checks and immediately notify supervisor(s) of any out-of-tolerance readings.
Continuously maintain a safe, clean and organized workstation, including machine, floor, mirror/lenses, molds and filters.
Perform basic Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks, as assigned.

Qualifications
Education/Experience

About this role:
Carrier Commercial Service is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to oversee commercial mechanical focused on data centers. This role is responsible for the startup, commissioning, and warranty management of Carrier air- and water-cooled chillers. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, commissioning authorities, general contractors, and subcontractors.
The job sites are located in the Ohio Valley region - including Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. Travel from a nearby regional home location is acceptable. Please note that extensive travel, with several weeks spent on-site at the project jobsite, is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution & Management
Lead startup, commissioning, and warranty processes for Carrier air- and water-cooled chillers in newly constructed data centers.
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
Track and review key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project success.
Conduct work in progress meetings with stakeholders, addressing design, material delivery, and labor schedules.
Ensure all projects meet or exceed booked profit margin goals.
Work with project coordination to order and track all chiller parts needing to be ordered for warranty execution.
Stakeholder & Customer Coordination
Collaborate with sales, prime contractors, and end-users to fulfill project scope and deliverables.
Serve as the primary liaison representing Carrier between the customer, commissioning authority (CxA), general contractor, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth communication and project progression.
Provide professional, timely resolution for customer concerns, ensuring satisfaction with all aspects of project execution.
Technical Expertise & Compliance

Working knowledge of Building Automation System (BAS) integration, ensuring proper controls functionality.

Role Purpose

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently perform shipping and receiving functions, including:
Handling materials manually or with hoists, slings, forklifts, and other industrial equipment, if needed.
Gathering parts from warehouse inventory, as needed, and per bill of material.
Accurately weighing, marking, and packaging all outgoing shipments to ensure safe transport and to mitigate any potential damage or delay in the shipping process.

Fabricating shipping crates, pallets, and boxes per provided specifications.
Maintaining the finished products storage area to ensure inventory readiness and ease of pulling product for shipping preparation and distribution.
Proactively working with appropriate parties regarding daily schedule and order requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely receiving and recording of materials by validating deliveries against purchase orders, and promptly inputting materials received into the assigned storage location in Visual (ERP).
Correctly and legibly complete and/or maintain all required documentation related to shipping and receiving functions.
Perform cycle counts, as needed, to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies and process breakdowns; communicate issues promptly to supervisor.

Provide hazard assessment analyses and follow-up activities for new processes, and review existing processes for changes in equipment or new legal requirements.
Communicate with local and state officials concerning necessary permits, including but not limited to air permits, RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) waste permits, sanitary sewer permits, and storm water permits; advise steps to obtain/remain in permitted compliance.
Conduct chemical inventories and advise on Tier II, Form R, and other state and local reporting.

Basic Qualifications:

The role of CNC Machinist is responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Adhere to production schedules by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, material specifications, locations, and machining parameters, and interpret complex geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
Effectively operate CNC machines by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches. Apply basic math, geometry, trigonometry, and proving parts to determine calculating requirements, using G-code and/or conversational programming, as needed.
Correctly set-up CNC machines by programming, editing, installing, and adjusting tools, attachments, collets, bushings, stops, and indicating parts with minimal to no assistance.
Safely load raw material by lifting stock into position, and verify setting by measuring positions, first-run part and sample work pieces, and adhering to international standards.
Ensure part(s) specifications by observing drilling, grooving and cutting, including turning, and facing. Take measurements to identify malfunctions, apply troubleshooting techniques, as needed, and take corrective measures by adjusting and editing existing programs, and replacing worn tools.
Properly maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer user instructions, appropriately troubleshooting malfunctions, and reporting issues for repairs timely.
Regularly educate and train other machinists on production, programming, troubleshooting and maintenance policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy of parts and pieces.
Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs; document actions by completing production and quality logs.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Associate Degree in Machining Technology or related field, plus three (3) years of CNC machining experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with FANUC controls, mill and lathe machining, and CMM (coordinate-measuring machine), a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Technical Skills.
Ability to use and interpret dimensional measuring tools or equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude. Proficient with math skills, specifically geometric calculations, and trigonometry, to check prints against programs. Ability to identify and implement process improvements. Ability to determine, sharpen and fabricate proper tooling based on applications. Ability to use hoists hand tools and other instruments. Ability to learn about and apply technical products to various industrial manufacturing processes.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Perform
coating
functions by proficiently processing raw material into coated material via mixing and coating techniques, to include:
Precisely following priorities and sequences in producing product to meet customer requirements.
Accurately reading and interpreting work order instructions and carrying out operations, as required.
Proficiently preparing and measuring granular and liquids in mixing of coating solution.
Accurately completing all related quality inspections.
Effectively processing coated rolls into Rigid Glasweve.
Accurately recording traceability information for each roll produced.
Storing processed Rigid Glasweve that is not sequencing to the next step in material holding room.
Perform
laser cutting
functions by proficiently processing coated material into semi-finished product (coupons), to include:
Precisely following priorities and sequences in producing product to meet customer requirements.
Accurately reading and interpreting work order instructions and carrying out operations, as required.
Safely loading coated rolls into laser cutting material feed bin.
Accurately selecting laser cutting program per semi-finished (coupon) Part Number.
Accurately completing all related quality inspections.
Perform
form & fire
functions by proficiently processing coated material/semi-finished product (coupons) into finished goods, to include:
Precisely following priorities and sequences in producing product to meet customer requirements.
Accurately reading and interpreting work order instructions and carrying out operations, as required.
Accurately selecting Form & Fire program per finished goods Part Number.
Safely collecting filters from bin.
Accurately completing all related quality checks.
Accurately packaging finished goods per instructions.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
One (1) year of manufacturing or machine operation experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Manufacturing/Technical Skills.
Ability to read, interpret and apply basic drawings. Ability to perform basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) utilizing a calculator, including forms of measurement and other work material calculations. Working knowledge of tools, equipment, and devices, and ability to use hand operated and power tools. Proficiency with performing tasks with precision and manual dexterity. Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.

**About this role:**
Carrier Commercial Service is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to oversee commercial mechanical focused on data centers. This role is responsible for the startup, commissioning, and warranty management of Carrier air- and water-cooled chillers. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, commissioning authorities, general contractors, and subcontractors.
**_The job sites are located in the Ohio Valley region - including Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. Travel from a nearby regional home location is acceptable. Please note that extensive travel, with several weeks spent on-site at the project jobsite, is required._**
**Key Responsibilities:**
Project Execution & Management
+ Lead startup, commissioning, and warranty processes for Carrier air- and water-cooled chillers in newly constructed data centers.
+ Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
+ Track and review key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project success.
+ Conduct work in progress meetings with stakeholders, addressing design, material delivery, and labor schedules.
+ Ensure all projects meet or exceed booked profit margin goals.
+ Work with project coordination to order and track all chiller parts needing to be ordered for warranty execution.
Stakeholder & Customer Coordination
+ Collaborate with sales, prime contractors, and end-users to fulfill project scope and deliverables.
+ Serve as the primary liaison representing Carrier between the customer, commissioning authority (CxA), general contractor, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth communication and project progression.
+ Provide professional, timely resolution for customer concerns, ensuring satisfaction with all aspects of project execution.
Technical Expertise & Compliance
+ Interpret and apply mechanical, electrical, and architectural drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications.
+ Ensure adherence to industry codes, standards, and project specifications.
+ Working knowledge of Building Automation System (BAS) integration, ensuring proper controls functionality.
+ Manage the change order process, preventing scope creep and maintaining project integrity.
Financial & Operational Oversight
+ Accurately forecast monthly revenue by estimating project completion costs
+ Manage project documentation, including warranty processing and factory-generated service information in collaboration with our Service Engineering team
+ Maintain rigorous job safety standards across all projects.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ 3+ years of project management experience
+ 3+ years in mechanical installation, building automation, electrical installation, or construction.
+ 3+ years' experience with water- or air-cooled chillers
+ 3+ years of Commercial HVAC expertise, including centrifugal chillers, CDU systems, and airside equipment.
+ Travel Requirement: Up to 75%, with extended stays at data center job sites nationwide.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and complex MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) documents.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering OR a Master's/MBA.
+ Data center industry experience with water- or air-cooled chillers.
+ Commercial HVAC expertise, including centrifugal chillers, CDU systems, and airside equipment.
+ PMP certification
+ LEED certification or experience with BACnet.
+ Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
