Additionally, Mr. Beattie has been involved in the financing, management and development of a number of private and publicly-traded businesses in the consumer product, financial services, information technology, and retailing sectors. Mr. Beattie served as Chairman of the Personal Care Products Council, and is currently on the Executive Committee of the board of directors. In addition he serves on the Executive Committee of Public Education Needs Civic Involvement in Learning (PENCIL), and the Executive Committee of Ivey School of Business.
