What You'll Do
Provide friendly and prompt customer service with a warm and inviting presence.
Become an expert on Fresh Baguette's menu offerings and communicate product details effectively to customers.
Follow recipes according to standard and prepare high-quality coffee, sandwiches, salads, and other menu items with care.
Handle cash and credit transactions at the register in a fun, efficient, and accurate manner.
Serve a variety of baked goods, breads, and pastries to enhance the customer's experience.
Maintain store safety, sanitation, and proper food storage practices at all times.
Address and resolve customer complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
Pay close attention to the display of products throughout the day, ensuring they are visually appealing.
Keep the store clean and well-prepped, including execution of closing tasks and preparation for the next day.

Shifts:
Our shifts typically start as early as 6am and end as late as 7pm, 7 days per week.
Morning shifts: 6:00AM-1PM
Afternoon shifts: 1:00PM-7PM
6-8 hour shift
3-5 Days a week including Saturday and Sunday
Qualifications
Must have open availability to work any time and any day for full-time
Must have open availability on both Saturdays and Sundays and one other day in the week such as Friday or Monday.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
A passion for coffee, baked goods, and creating positive customer experiences.
An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, people-oriented demeanor.

Barista/Cashier The Barista/Cashier is responsible for preparing high-quality beveragesprimarily specialty coffees and hot drinksalong with handling food orders, operating the POS system, and keeping the store clean and well-stocked for guests. Position Task
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages in accordance with brand and quality standards
Accurately prepare and assemble food orders for guests in a timely manner
Deliver prompt, friendly, and attentive service to every guest to ensure a positive experience
Build and maintain relationships with guests by anticipating needs and providing helpful recommendations
Effectively communicate product knowledge, ingredients, and customization options to guide guests through the menu
Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally, escalating to management when necessary

Qualifications/Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
Previous experience in retail, hospitality and/or customer service is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across functional groups in a positive and collaborative manner
Ability to handle large work volumes requiring a high degree of accuracy and be highly organized
Detailed oriented and strong work ethic
Ability to set and handle multiple priorities, adapt to changing situations quickly, follow instructions, schedules and timelines
Able to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
