The position is required to perform all tasks in an effective, safe, and professional manner and is responsible for adhering to all policies and values. Job Responsibilities: Operate equipment or shovel to remove ice and snow from commercial accounts throughout assigned areas, which require early morning starts, extended hours, and weekend duty including holidays. Responds in a timely manner (within 30 minutes) when called to assist in snow removal. Ensure that assigned properties under responsibility of this position are adequately and safely serviced when required. At times grounds maintenance and other duties as assigned related to facilities and site maintenance might be needed. Inspects equipment on regularly scheduled basis before leaving for a shift. Complies with safety precautions. Maintains clean and ready to go equipment needed for snow removal. Follows all safety rules, policies, and regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform various duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met; these include, but are not limited to, loading/unloading trucks, transporting trash and waste to proper disposal area, and replenishing supplies. Setting up and tearing down portable chairs, removable seats, bike racks, other furnishings, and equipment. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, etc. Assist with custodial duties and post-show cleaning when required. Operate equipment such as, but not limited to, vacuum cleaner, trash compactor, floor scrubber, leaf blower, and golf carts. Report irregularities, discrepancies, safety concerns, damage concerns, or loss of property promptly. Maintain predictable and reliable attendance.
