They are responsible for educating clients on the use of our resistance-based machines and empowering them to push through our challenging workout. [solidcore] coaches are expected to be able to think quickly and provide clients of differing skill levels with support and motivation. Classes are intense but small, designed to allow our coaches to deliver each client with personalized attention and accountability in a group environment. The lights are low, the music is on point, and the community is [inspiring]. At their core, [solidcore] coaches are dedicated to and invested in helping those around them discover what they're truly capable of. All [solidcore] coaches must undergo [solidcore]'s comprehensive training program. Our training groups are small as well as highly selective, allowing for individualized support and tight-knit relationships. Training managers are dedicated to the success of each trainee and provide ample feedback as well as trackable goals. Please note, prior fitness teaching experience or fitness certification is not required. Our company is expanding rapidly. Responsibilities Prepare, and serve food and beverage offerings within a coffee house setting Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and associates Must represent Omni standards when handling guest complaints and issues Must remain professional in all situations Must be willing to work in stressful, high-pressure situations Understand and follow proper uniform and grooming standards Ensure that the lobby public areas are maintained Assist with monthly inventory, if necessary Maintain a clean workspace throughout entire shift Follow proper procedures regarding tendering transactions Maintain a cash bank, and adhere to cash handling procedures Responsible for accuracy of guest room numbers for room charges Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest needs are satisfied Adhere to proper food handling procedures Proper knowledge of equipment use and safety procedures Adhere to all policies regarding employee purchases and discount standards Follow proper procedures for all logs, receipts and returns. Follow proper procedures for accepting credit cards and checks. Ensure each beverage is consistently prepared and served by Omni standards. Proactively work to seek out ways in which to improve the experience for our guests. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 1-year customer service experience; in food/beverage and/or retail environment. Previous coffee house and/or hotel experience preferred. Previous cash handling and customer service experience required. Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co-workers. Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into MICROS. Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor. Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department. Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fast-paced environment. Must become familiar with all products and methods including Coffee, Espresso, Specialty Drinks and Retail Items. ENVIRONMENT & POSITION ANALYSIS: Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance. Stand, walk or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion, with consistent use of hands and arms. TOOLS & EQUIPMENT: Desktop computer (Opera, Micros terminal and Microsoft Office), printer, telephone, copier, fax machine and scanner. Coffee maker/urn, toaster, microwave, beverage machines, dishware, silverware, glassware, espresso machine, TurboChef, and toaster. Cleaning supplies such as vacuum, mop, broom, duster and chemicals.
