Responsible for knowing and being able to speak about all coffees served in the shop including but not limited to the coffee's components, history, and how to brew those coffees. Operates coffee brewing equipment, grinders, scales, timers, water towers, point of sale systems, and mobile payment system. Restocks all areas of store including coffee bar, & back rooms Performs opening, closing, and mid-day tasks. Responsible for learning and perfecting latte art. Assists in maintaining order and cleanliness of the store through things such as but not limited to sweeping , mopping, cleaning drains, taking out trash, surface cleaning, and dishes. Provides guests with a memorable experience. Responsible for taking guest orders and ensuring a complete and accurate order. Resolves guest complaints with tact and professionalism or alerts attending leader on staff to assist. Responsible for receiving and signing for orders from suppliers. Receives deliveries and checks for quality of items delivered as well as accuracy of delivery based on invoice. Responsible for taking and recording temperatures as required. Responsible for working in a high volume environment where efficiency, service, and quality must be maintained - crafts each drink with care. Keeps store clean, stocked, and organized including but not limited to pastry case, condiment station, merchandiser, grab and go refrigerator, bathroom, and walk-in refrigerator.
